AskEddy
An AI-powered booking platform for activities and attractions across the UAE, built on NestJS and PostgreSQL.

The problem
Booking activities and attractions across the UAE meant navigating a fragmented set of operators, each with different availability systems and no single point of discovery. Travelers were left switching between sites just to find out what was available on a given day.
Our approach
We built AskEddy around a single AI assistant as the entry point, rather than a traditional search-and-filter interface. The assistant interprets what a traveler is looking for and resolves it against live availability, collapsing discovery and booking into one conversational flow.
What we built
A NestJS API on PostgreSQL, written end to end in TypeScript, handling activity discovery and the booking pipeline behind the AI assistant. The system was built to support real-time availability checks across operators without exposing that complexity to the end user.
The outcome
AskEddy now handles AI-guided bookings for activities and attractions across the UAE, with the assistant absorbing the discovery work that used to require comparing multiple sites by hand.
